I tried to contact Foremost and was unable to connect. Ivanhoe, do you have a contact person and phone number? Thanks.

The FOREMOST Policy which is issued by The Vilages Insurance Co is an OFF ROAD POLICY...with a specific Golf Cart endorsement and OFF ROAD is Defined as Self Propelled Motorized Vehicle which is designated primarily for off-road use and Not licensed for use on public roads. This would fit the definition of most golf carts used here in the Villages AND not simply on Golf Cart Paths

Progressive--we have our car and golf cart insured by them--great price--$125.00 per year--by the way every one should have golf cart insurance Why Florida doesn't require it is beyond belief!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do not just attach the cart to your homeowners policy. The exact words of a AAA agent (who did not sell us anything) were: "If you have a claim on your homeowners' policy because of the cart, the insurer could cancel your homeowner policy, and good homeowner insurance is getting very hard to get in FL".

Get the separate golf cart policy thru The Villages Insurance, insurer = Foremost. They know the unique type of golf cart usage there is in TV.

Allstate on 466 said the same, a Separate policy is needed for TV use. Quoted around $85 for used, $125 for new.

Remember, rates are determined by coverage amounts and the year of the cart. I've been covered by State Farm for the last 3 years with less than a$10 increase over the past 3 years. Yes, do keep the cart policy separate from home owners and/or your auto policy!
