You will want to become an active part of your new "neighborhood" when you arrive, just don't feel like you have to do it all at once. You have the rest of your life ahead of you. Enjoy it to its fullest. And welcome! Your best years are ahead of you.

[QUOTE=CrazyTiki;2396139]Hello everyone,

We are thrilled to join this forum and become part of this vibrant community! My name is Ed, and my wife, Keely, and we will be moving into our new home in Shady Brook in January. We're excited to get to know everyone and participate in community activities.

A little about us: We are from Generation Jones (tail end Boomers and GenX) and both native Floridians. I am a recently retired Director of Operations who enjoys music, hanging with friends and parties. Keely is an accountant who enjoys spending time with the kids and wants a pet capybara. We both enjoy parties, sitting at a bar to talk and meeting new friends and Patches and Sammie, our cat and dog. We're looking forward to exploring the area and meeting new friends.

I welcome you and appreciate your wanting a pet Capybara. I understand that they do better if you have two as long as both are not male. You should join the Capybara club. That way you can have access to the Capybara swim pool.

Should You Keep a Capybara as a Pet?
