Tough to do even on a resale and impossible on new. Even with no mortgage you still have to have home inspection, title insurance, and all the mounds of paperwork. Might do it in 15 to 20 days after you have selected a home. Sanibel will only have new homes at this point so that will take longer unless you could find a model home ready to be sold. And if you are building a new home, figure 90 days.

We bought our CYV in January and closed in about 10 days. Our finance guy, Dean, had to hustle, but did it. We had been here in November and met with him to pre-qualify so that was probably a big help. Perhaps you could contact your realtor to put you in contact with the finance people. I've seen other posts on here about people doing everything by phone/fax. Good luck!
