Post Here Goes

My husband & I have enjoyed reading your posts, so I finally registered. This forum is a fountain of knowledge! We have made many trips to visit TV & friends we have there & have, at long last, put our house on the market so we, too, can lead the "good life". We will need some luck in our market, but are keeping our fingers crossed & saying a prayer.

Welcome to the forum and good wishes on your journey of selling your house and making your transition to Paradise. I think you have made a wise choice!

Good luck on the selling process. We just got a contract on our house and its been on the market since Thanksgiving weekend. We had over 50 showings and finally an offer which was a really low ball. After negotiating we finally have a contract. They told me normally you should get an offer every 10 showings. Buyers have too many homes to view before they make a decision. We had to keep lowering our price to keep up with the others in the neighborhood. I believe if the trend continues the prices will keep on falling for quite a long time. My observations are of S Florida and it may be different where you live. Good luck Shalyjo.

Default Good Move!

Hi Shalyjo, I wish you all the luck in the world selling your house. I'm excited for you that you've decided on Paradise, as Gracie aptly stated. In the meantime, looking forward to conversing with you here on TOTV.

Hello and welcome, Shalyjo. Good luck in selling your house. My wife and I just moved down here last month and are still in the process of getting settled.

My son is real estate agent and his name is Joe...but definately not a Saint! He admits that the statue burial might just work! Try it!

Well we buried the statue of Saint Joseph! We figured it sure couldn't hurt. Thanks for the support - I'm sure I'll need if this drags on too long.
