We're from Hugo, which is about 25 miles northeast of St. Paul. It will be our 1st time to Florida. We went to Texas last fall and now Florida. We're going twice this winter, once in Nov. to the Villages and further south in March to look around.

We plan to be here Christmas and would love to meet, chat, cocktail, etc. We, too, moved here from Texas...albeit the other end. We came from Amarillo in 2004. Just PM me and welcome!

Default Tweety Bird from International Falls, MN

Hello all ye! I will be going to TV for the very first time for a visit. I'm checking things out to see if this is the place my husband and I will want to retire to. I'll be meeting my NC sister down there for 4 days or so and staying with a TV resident that we know. I'm majorly afraid of the heat, so, I just don't know. Will I EVER acclamate if we choose TV? I'll be there starting September 14th. Also, am thinking of staying for a couple of months in TV in the winter to see if this is REALLY the place to move to from Northern MN...you betcha'!

Default driving directions

If you want to pm me when you are ready to make driving plans, I would be glad to give you some directions. Just another idea, we drove a U-haul truck purchashed a GPS from Wal Mart for $108 and they are great. We now use it on our golf cart not just for directions, but it has an odometer and compasss which comes in very handy.
We are moved in and just starting to be able to enjoy some of the goodies in TV. By the way I had a great aunt that lived in Santa Barbara which we visited several times. Beautiful place.
Steve
