If you think it is time for a new site to start up, perhaps you should start one. You may find out it is more expensive and more difficult than you think!

This is a business for the Admins. They need to make a profit, and they don't charge members anything! There are Housewatch Companies that advertise on TOTV. The Admins are protecting their advertisers, who provide them with income. The Admins have a right to manage TOTV as they see fit.

I hear what you're saying HDH. However the Admins purchased the site and they make the rules. And I think that most of the members love the website, most of the time. I don't always agree with decisions made by the Admins, but I do believe they have an absolute right to run TOTV anyway they see fit.

The rules say after 10 posts you can recommend a service or contractor. doesn't say only if they approve of them.This all started with a certain cart repair co.They need to explain to all why they allow some and not others.I know some that have adds on site I would never use and many I would.They want to make money and that,s just fine.But close all contractor and services from be being recommended.I'm sure plenty of long time posters agree.This site helped us find people who are working on our house now and many times before.That's what brought us and many more here to exchange information.It seems now they just want to give you limited information that will benefit them.

Instead of going on an immature childish rant that results in your account getting suspended and some wondering if you have some ownership in that company, you could simply send admin a PM to see if there is a technical reason on why this may have happened.
