Default Hope It Happens Soon

This is my first post.

I am very anxious to be in TV. I visited a friend of mine three years ago on a LSV and fell in love with TV. I was very impressed with how friendly people were. I met a very nice couple and informed them I would not be able to move right away as I would need to have a job with benefits until Medicare started. Within two days, they introduced me to someone who offered me a job but unfortunately, no benefits. Talk about quick action. I now have Medicare and my condo has been on the market since January, 2010 and I am waiting for it to sell.

I have been reading TOTV for about a month and find it entertaining and informative. I have been gathering pieces of information from your website that I will need when I am in TV. I plan to move down ASAP!!!!!!!!
I am not trying to start any controversy, so please be kind. In addition, I would like to get any thoughts on the following questions I have.
1. The biggest concern I have is the IRS versus the CDD bond issue and whether home owners have any rights when the developer finishes building out other than paying for a possible cost of living increase. Would I be correct in saying that the CDD bond issue versus the IRS is an issue that no-one knows how it is going to play out. That it will have a minimal effect on the cost of living in TV?
2. When the developer finishes the build out in TV, the CDD will keep maintaining TV?
3. I am still concerned over whether shutters are needed in the villages. Does a home built after a certain calendar year not need shutters or does this apply to only older homes?
4. One post claimed the shutters are not needed as the Villages is too far inland to be affected by hurricanes and do not cause damage but sustain high winds. Therefore, wind insurance is necessary?
5. Would tornado damage be covered by wind insurance?
6. I was wondering, what is the difference between buying a home with single pane window versus a double pane window? Is one type better than the other?
7. Does a double pane window protect a home better from hurricanes as opposed to single pane?
8. Someone recommended in a book that it is good to have flood insurance. Any thoughts?

This post is Boomeresque in length. I must be the long lost relative of Boomer.

I can’t wait to meet the nice people who are members of TOTV and I appreciate anyone’s thoughts on these matters.

P.S. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice.
