what should happen is this... when you pull up with the truck several neighbors should appear in your driveway offering to help you unload and later a few more will come by to meet you and bring a pie or brownies.... leave the truck in your driveway but put a tarp, blanket or box under the motor end of the truck insure your driveway stays protected

It is quite possible that the loaded truck will crack the driveway. Drive it in after it is unloaded.

I have to agree BeeGee. It does depend on where you are. Very unhappy souls indeed. Misery loves company. We are thankfull not to be in one of those neighborhoods. We also never let stories of grumpbucket neighbors stop us from moving here. You'll find them everywhere unfortunately.
