![]() ![]() You can't be free but there are several performers you will really like. I like: 1. Motown and More, (Rick Melvern). 2. Uncle Bob's Rock Shop. 3. Rocky and the Rollers. 4. Johnny D and the Starlighters is a band that people have been raving about. 5. Joe Carter 6. Clark Barrios especially when he appears with the Atlantic City Boys. Appeared once at LSL. Please add to this list.......... ![]()

Like Yogi said: "people don't go there anymore---too crowded". Here in TV, after a couple of years, we do go to the Squares less as we are more "picky" about who the entertainers are. Nothing against line dancing but I've had enough for a while. Heck, I even get tired of too much golf. Moderation is a virtue.

We were at the square the other night in Sumter landing and it was fine. I wouldn't call it overcrowded and Scooter was there.

What would you be posting if there was no entertainment?

If you all remember Yesterdayze out of St. Petersburg, the band at Brownwood tonight is very similar, it's Paisley Craze, and I believe they are also out of Tampa/St. Pete. I've seen them twice before and if today was such a long day for me I would be there tonight.
They perform the more psychedelic songs of the late 60's and early 70's, a little change of pace from Uncle Bob, who is more straight ahead rock. Their music ranges from Santana, Spirit, Hendrix, Beatles, CCR, Doors and so on, song list below. They also have a female lead singer like Yesterdayze. Here is their website PAISLEY CRAZE ![]() Songs they perform: GREEN ONIONS PEOPLE GET READY ONE FINE DAY GOT A LINE ON YOU KNOCK ON WOOD KNOWHERE TO RUN UPTIGHT, EVERYTHING IS ALRIGHT RESCUE ME GET TOGETHER TICKET TO RIDE LOVE LIGHT PURPLE HAZE LET'S SPEND THE NIGHT TOGETHER INSTRUMENTAL SURF MEDLEY THINK SOMEBODY TO LOVE FOR WHAT IT'S WORTH FEELIN ALRIGHT CHANGE IS GONNA COME DAYTRIPPER I'M A BELIEVER JUMPIN JACK FLASH SURFIN USA DANCING IN THE STREET CAN'T HURRY LOVE FORTUNATE SON HEY JUDE ROCK ME BABY LAST TRAIN TO CLARKSVILLE TO LOVE SOMEBODY PIECE OF MY HEART SIGNED SEALED DELIVERED LOVE ME TWO TIMES/LIGHT MY FIRE GOOD LOVIN TRACKS OF MY TEARS GREEN RIVER DOWN ON THE CORNER WE GOTTA GET OUT OF THIS PLACE WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN GET READY GIMME SOME LOVIN MONY MONY STAGGER LEE SATISFACTION LETS TWIST AGAIN LAST TIME/BAD MOON HANG ON SLOOPY WILL YOU STILL LOVE ME RUN AROUND SUE PROUD MARY BROWN SUGAR GRAPEVINE WOOLY BULLY I SAW HER STANDING THERE PROUD MARY LOUIE LOUIE BROWN EYED GIRL CAN'T HELP MYSELF SWEET CAROLINE THE TWIST LET'S TWIST AGAIN RUN AROUND SUE MUSTANG SALLY HONKY TONK WOMEN TWISTIN THE NIGHT AWAY RESPECT HONKY TONK WOMEN SAW HER STANDING THERE TWIST AND SHOUT GET TOGETHER LIGHT MY FIRE DOCK OF THE BAY UNDER THE BOARDWALK YOUVE LOST THAT LOVIN FEELIN LOUIE LOUIE FEELIN ALRIGHT A MIDNIGHT HOUR AND I LOVE HER IMAGINE I SECOND THAT EMOTION LET IT BE LOVE ME TWO TIMES I FEEL GOOD THESE BOOT/SECRET AGENT MAN WHITE ROOM /LAYLA BOBBY MCGEE HARD DAYS NIGHT, 8 DAYS A WEEK, NORWEGIAN WOOD YOU REALLY GOT ME BLACK MAGIC WOMAN OYE COMO VA EVIL WAYS SOUL SACRIFICE SHERRY WHITER SHADE OF PALE GLORIA DIRTY WATER OOOH BABY BABY OVER UNDER SIDEWAYS DOWN IM A MAN HEART FULL OF SOUL SHAPES OF THINGS TO COME BECKS BOLERO INCENSE & PEPPERMINT LITTLE WING DANCE TO THE MUSIC RESCUE ME GET BACK PLEASE PLEASE ME I WANNA HOLD YOUR HAND CANT BUY ME LOVE ALL MY LOVIN |

Just got home from seeing, "The Band 4 Play". First time playing The Villages but will be in Brownwood on the 28th of June. They play everything from oldies to top 40 and do them all well. It's a 5-piece band that features 2 exceptional ladies. Give them a shot - you won't be disappointed.

First saw Paisley Craze two years ago at the Great Race in LSL. They were excellent, and since they are from the Sarasota area I thought they were here for the special event only. They are a treat to listen to and a couple of Janis Joplin tunes really made me a fan. Looking forward to seeing them on the 20th in SS. And don't miss Johnny Dee & the Starlights in Brownwood on the 18th.
