Send me an email (romojohnson@charter.net) and I will send you a listing of people south of 466A and some of them may be your new neighbors.

Looks like you're trying to provide water to three pools in the neighborhood!

The electricians are also hard at work doing the interior wiring. You guys are really coming along!

At any rate...here's your pics!

Enjoy

Anyone know if code requires metal plates on the studs where wires are run through the stud to prevent you from drilling into the wire?

Not required if the wire is routed in center of a standard 2 X 4 or through the center knockout on a metal stud. It has to be located such that a sheetrock screw won't reach the wire. And when the wire runs down the stud it should be stapled to keep the wire in the center of the cavity. You see more metal plates over plumbing than you will electrical wires.

Default Hotrods Paint

Hi Hotrod!!! You have a very nicely painted home. They've finished the garage and it looks like most of the interior. A lot of the trim has also been put down and painted. Looking like it's almost ready to occupy! I wish you'd hurry up and get down here!!!!

Default Andy's Wired!!

I don't know if you have that saying in the UK but we say that here when someone's agitated...lol. But, in any case, the workers are putting in overtime and wiring your house. What are you putting in there anyway...a corporate office??? Check out the load of wires in the garage!!! Also note that there's a nice pile of stucco mix in the yard. Gracie approves of the exterior!!!

Default Pool Work for Cooper

Hi Everyone! The excavators have been hard at work on Cooper's pool and spa again today! A lot of the pipe from yesterday has been covered up and more schedule 40 put into the ground on the west end of the pool. It's shaping up nicely!!!

Rusty: I'm just going to stop saying "thank you" because it's starting to sound silly...but you have to know how much I appreciate your photography work! And while I'm an expert at reading out of context, where did the phrase "Schedule 40" come from?

As usual, Rusty, you and Gracie have outdone yourselves! Nice work!! And WOW! I love the Elm and almost chose that model, Wendy and Andy! I liked that the bath was accessible via the lanai!
Calc, so much progress all of a sudden! Looking good!
And now I know what Hayseed looks like... Just like everyone else's houses! Looking forward to December and some shopping

Whenever anything was designed (I'm talking in the old days, like early 20th century), the draftsman (draftsMAN, because women didn't do work like that, ) would draw the diagram of how the object would look, and then would provide a "schedule" or a list of specifications...the schedule could include size, tolerances, type of material, color, whatever else was called for by the engineer. In the case of pipe, there isn't much to specify...just diameter and thickness. So, "schedule" in pipe just means thickness
