Please hurry up and get back down here and convince your friends that they need to get a lot in Gilchrist while they still can...lol

You looked fine and you still were moving in-I was embrassed that we gave no notice and just came rolling in. We start our build on the 24th and are excited--can't believe that we'll close in January! They know what they're doing! We really enjoyed our fast meeting and already are talking about the great neighbors to everyone at home--our friends were very surprised of the warm welcome with just emailing eachother--and believe me we are trying to convince them to buy but with two in college we'll just have to settle for visits

Capt! Still lots available and we'll keep the porch light on for you! But even if you don't end up in our neck of the woods, you're welcome anytime! Door is always open for you. Hope you are able to come down soon!

Default I Just Give Up!

I guess I'm just going to have to close the "Most Obvious Progress" contest because it is now becoming too hard to make a fair decision!!! It is just amazing to me how quickly houses are springing up in the neighborhood.

There is so much progress being made on each home that it's hard to keep track of what's being done where.

So, at any rate, the following three posts are what's been done at CalcTeachers, Junction 29's and Hotrod's homes....it's just amazing!!!

She was uber cute but definitely not a fan of the water. If I could have figured out a way to safely do it I was going to take a pic of me and her sitting on the edge of the pool!!!

I have a feeling that you might have to have an overflow valve if Cooper gets into the act!
Oh, THAT Gracie . . . Thought you were talking about TOTV's most prolific poster and risking getting the posse after your hill billy butt.

Default CalcTeachers Hacienda

I don't know what you guys have put into your back yard but I have never seen so much Schedule 40 put into a hole in my entire life!!!

Looks like you're trying to provide water to three pools in the neighborhood!

The electricians are also hard at work doing the interior wiring. You guys are really coming along!

At any rate...here's your pics!

Enjoy

Hi Guys! You are making wonderful progress!! The interior studs are still going up and some work was done in the kitchen area. You definitely have water because there was a small leak in the capped off kitchen pipe. It's not bad so I don't think you're gonna flood!

You've also gotten windows since yesterday.

Default Casa de Hotrod

Well, Carol, I have to say that you never cease to impress!!! You now have a driveway and a front walk, a painted lanai and they are beginning to paint the inside. I'm afraid that the time is quickly approaching when I won't be able to get into the house to take pics. When that happens, I hope you'll still be satisfied with pics through the windows...lol

No Dawg! I'm talking about the neighborhood watch dog, Gracie.

She accompanies me on our rounds every day and is very vigilent about what goes on in which house. If she sees something she doesn't like she howls at the workers until they get it right!!!

For a little kid she' pretty sharp!

Rusty: the pics are amazing...sorry, but I have no idea why there are so many pipes in/around/near the pool. That seems a little crazy! HotRod: what an awesome stage you're at! Driveway poured and painting starting! You're almost just 30 days out! Lucky girl! Junction 29: Our houses seem to be neck and neck! I'm not familiar with that floor plan, but it looks beautiful!

Oh my Gosh! I don't even knpw where to begin! All the houses seem to be moving along at record pace. Calc-so many pipes! To carry the gas to the pool, me thinks? I almost don't recognize the areas anymore as they seem to change daily. Andy and Wendy, it won't be long before your interior framing is complete, electrical done and driveway in too! Rusty, thanks for keeping us in the know and we appreciate your time and efforts!
Looking at my drive, I think in hindsight I may have liked to widen the area leading to the GC garage. Where i thought it may not matter to me, i now wonder. Certainly not a deal breaker and something that can be changed down the line if it really is a hinderance. But something for those of you who have not yet built to think about!
Thank you again, Rusty
