Hi Jimbo, do not worry.

Your bail Bond is secure, the Mayor has spoken and declared that our Neighbourhood couldn't afford to lose either of you two and that we couldn't bear the thought of your better half being upset at losing you either, if it was just you alone taken into shackles

That was brilliant Mr Mayor

We just hope that you don't get dragged into any controversy about encouraging and assisting in his arrival, you could end up being guilty by association that could take copious amounts of Corona to rectify

Just joking, really looking forward to meeting with you both and if you can still walk when you leave the Mayor's house, we are just across the road and have the lots more Corona, Wine and something stronger to fortify you and your good lady after your arduous journey, whilst we sit, plan and scheme ways to liven up the neighbourhood even more

On another topic:

Just had a visit & demonstration from TS Environmental about a Whole House Water Filtration System at around $5500.

Anyone know;

a. Whether it is nessesary here in TV?

b. Whether the price quoted is reasonable?
and
c. Does anyone else in the neighbourhood have the system installed that we can have a look at?

Thanks

I'd lay off of the water treatment system, IMHO. The water here is hard but I don't find it objectionable. As long as you're satisfied with the taste, I'd pass. Personally, I don't like treated water. It feels "slippery" to me and I have a devil of a time getting the soap off of me....

Dear Carol & Jill, What a bleedin' marvelous idea. Janice and I will be there with bells on!!! I also like the idea of donations to the charities. Who would have thought six months ago that we would have a neighborhood like this???

Ah well, you can't say that we didn't beg you to come back before all of this hit the fan? Maybe this will light a fire under your bums to get back here and assume your rightful place amongst the frogs!!!

It will be sooooo great when you guys get back down here. We've missed you both and we really need to meet Cooper!!!

Default ***administrative question***

An idea was proposed a few months ago about establishing our own page on Facebook. I was wondering if there was still any interest in this topic. I don't think that it would be too hard to do/administer and was going to give it a try if we have the interest?

So, what say you guys????

Junction29 -
We agree with the replies about not spending all that money on a whole-house water filtration/softener system. We got a whole-house water filtration system only. It's a lot less money (under $500), and gets rid of the chlorine odor, iron, and other particulate matter (aka "crud"). The water tastes better, and our wallet remained intact! :-)

Thanks to TOTV, we had Kiley & Sons Plumbing perform the work and are very pleased.
