Bless my eyes, they are back! I was driving home in the cart and there was such a cluster of people and dogs on Amherst I thought there might be trouble. and I was right. Andy and Wendy are home....hurray!

they were the first people I met here, while waiting for my house to be built. I've been looking forward to their return.

Janice and I would like to thank all of our friends who have been so kind and supportive during her mother's recent illness and passing. Your well wishes and prayers were effective and much appreciated. We had the memorial service today which was very nice and absent of any unneeded drama.

The 1st Baptist Church of Varney is a little country church with not much in the way of resources so the contributions of all our friends will be much appreciated and well used.

Thank you all so much.

I'm returning to paradise tomorrow evening if the 'Ole Bishop doesn't forget to pick me up in Sanford... Janice will return on Thursday.

Varney, WV? I know where Varney is located. I'm from that corner of neighboring Virginia. If you go across Bartley Store Bottom, follow the Dismal River Road on down to Chicken Ridge and Bearwallow; you'll be near my neck of the woods in Virginia. It is a small world. Quick note of thanks to all the great neighbors in Gilchrist specifically, and TV in general. Just returned to Kansas today after 15 wonderful days spent in our new Gilchrist home. Met many new firends and neighbors. Everyone was so inviting and welcoming. We can't wait for the next trip back.
