It's not much, but I got garage doors today

They also painted the ceiling and walls.

Cathy and I have been busy with other items for the house. Sunday we approved the closet design with Busby's Closet Design. 5 closets, an amazing design, and an unbeliveable price. Tim the Tool Man is lined up for epoxy garage floor and attic stairs. Today we approved the design for the built ins for the study (Rusty Room) and ordered the 3rd bedroom panel (murphy) bed from Wall Beds Plus. Jason came to the house yesterday to measure and did a great design. Got our quote from Brighthouse. Next up . . . Blinds from 48 Hr I assume.

Chief - we will have to compare notes,I hear the walk through is very detailed ... I am requesting my HUD today, doubt it will be ready but I am a stickler for them being right!!!!
Good luck!!!!
We totally agree-we've already moved once when we sold our house two years ago and moved into a townhouse-thought we downsized and de-cluttered--boy were we wrong. There are boxes everywhere and tons of papers to shred before we get down there at the end of March. Where did we get all this stuff. No furniture for us either--just our personal belongings--can we really have this much stuff and only two people??

Hotrod--your landscaping is amazing--I can't wait until we get down in March to see it--they did a great job. How are the new neighbor's treating you? Hope they aren't missing the cold and snow up here too much!!

Weather is supposed to be rather nasty tonight - high wind and flooding and a full moon - not what I like to hear - so I hope it pushes through quickly so we can safely be on our way.
Safe travels chiefrose and Yankee Quilter! Can't wait to see and meet everyone and start settling in!

Rona
safe travels to you too...we are packing the two cars to the hilt ... Our "stuff" doesn't 't get packed until the15th, and only the moving god knows delivery! We only have a 6 hour trip so ..... No big deal.....
So many of us starting the "new" chapter of our lives .....cannot wait to meet all .... See many of you Thursday, all of you soon

Twin, I wouldn't worry too much about T&T! They are too busy settling in to realize what they are missing at home! What am I saying? That will be the two of you soon!

Fellow sufferers from packing. Misery loves company. Salvation army took a truckload, and I am still eyeball deep. The garage will be the last great and greatest bastion of impossibility...

Default Official

Feeling like a very official Villager now. After living in Gilchrist for two months and enjoying the posts on TOTV, I have finally registered and have also hung our lamp post sign declaring our official residence. Must say I am not missing the snow we left behind in New Hampshire.

And now that you are on the spreadsheet you really are an official Gillbilly. Hope to meet you tomorrow at the Driveway Bash.

Default Rona is Trucking South

I just spoke to Rona and she and Bill were just north of Savannah, hammer down and dodging speed traps. Boy are they going to get a Gillbilly Welcome when they arrive
