I am not sure how to post something without "replying" but I want to say we had our design meeting last week &, though tiring, our designer was wonderful, patient, & we made some decisions to make our Iris special. So if you're prepared & come in with your lists of requests, they don't automatically say no. We are in Sanibel renting right now & our move in date is 7/8 so let us know when the next Gillybration is

Congratulations that you made it through the design meeting with no problems. We just closed last week and are crazily going through arranging for after closing things in the house, but we will be there just for the day Friday and then coming back Tuesday. If there is a gillybration or happy hour get together sometime on those days it would be great.

Default Week of May 6th

[QUOTE=twiceis;66079 let us know when the next Gillybration is[/QUOTE]

Jim and I are closing on May 6th - We need to have a Gilly Celebration sometime that week. We are excited about meeting everyone. Mr Mayor and Gillyland adminstrative officers- we need to make sure we get together with the Gilly crowd to receive official residency status, learn the secret handshakes and other special protocols, and just have some fun! We will need a break from all the projects that we will be involved in right after closing. Hope to see everyone soon!

Hi Twiceis
His Worship the Mayor has decreed that any Gillylander or prospective Gillylander can call a neighbourhood Gillybration at Evans Praire, so looking at your post and the few after it, why don't one of you call one, on a convienient evening for you all and I am sure it will be well supported by those already in the Neighbourhood to give you a Gillyland welcome.

signed
His Worship the Mayor's Head of Administration's Chief Administration Assistant.

Yeah! We need a Gillybration. I truly missed all of you while I was back in Chicago. But I am home now.

Default Welcome newbies!

Glad to have you back home, Gayle! And a great big and a to all our new Gillyland neighbors! And the administrative assistant to His Lord Worship the Mayor is correct. Any Gillylander may call for a Gillybration at their convenience, so perhaps you might like to choose a date that works for you and let the rest of us subjects know when. Look forward to meeting you all!!!

Glad you're back in the bubble, Gayle. Sorry I didn't catch up with you today. Will have to wait until we get back next week.

Default Bad news - knee

MRI came back with a small tear, not bad enough for surgery but no pickleball or tennis.

Played golf yesterday felt ok.

Oh well

I am sorry Jimbo and I really wasn't going to kick you, honest.

Hope you are feeling better soon.

Last summer I was in a boot for 12 weeks when I tore my achilles tendon.

NOT fun to be hobbled.

Sorry to hear that, Jimbo. Glad you are still able to play golf. Maybe you can just be a pickleball cheerleader...

The thought of Jimbo being a cheerleader is frightening.
