Guess what guys - I don't think you'll be Gilchrist celebrating on Tuesday. I just spoke with the Manager, John, who advised me that the Parrotheads have reserved the entire breezeway for Tuesday night and expect anywhere from 300 to 400 members. I'm changing my get together.

Hi Everyone! It appears that Evans Prairie is going to be rockin' with the Parrotheads on Tuesday and the Long Islanders on Wednesday night. Thursday is not good for me due to golfing in the am & pm. I'm good with Friday night. What does everyone think???

Or we could share the space. E.P. is pretty big and since this is the first Long Islanders group meeting in a long time, I don't know how many may show up. Couldn't we do both? The Manager told me that so far, he only knows of 14 people coming on Wednesday.

CHANGE IN GILLYBRATION LOCATION

After consulting with Hizonor The Mayor , (and checking with the Restaurant Manager at Bonifay) the GILLYBRATION will be held at Bonifay, Tuesday 8/20/13 at around 7:00 on the breezeway. With the indoor AND outdoor bars it will probably even be easier to get your drinks at Bonifay. Make sure you support our local country clubs by eating dinner there before our gathering.

We stopped by Bonifay last night and had an opportunity to meet many of our soon-to-be Gilchrist neighbors. We won't be moving in until mid-January but I can't tell you how welcoming all of you were last night. Special thanks to our immediate neighbors Stan and Donna Lavender for getting the word out to us about the social.
