A quick question ... are they now saying 10 weeks ... last we had heard it was 7 weeks. We do not have our design app't until Dec. but are trying to plan.
Thanks

We had our design meeting 10/15--they started the build 10/24 and our close date is 1/8/13-so about 10.5 weeks. I'm sure the whole structure will be completed a couple weeks prior but we can't get the keys and meet with the builder until we close on the 8th of Jan. Once your design meeting is finished you'll have your start date and close date when you walk out the door. I was happy it was after the holidays as didn't want to close right in the middle of Christmas--we could always opt to close by mail and then meet with the builder at a later time.

We hope that you enjoy your new home, it can't be long before you settle in.

Yes! My parents mentioned that they met you! We like our view too! We don't play a lick of golf...just bought the lot for the view! Unfortunately, we're a little close to the cart path...hope no one mistakes our bedroom window for a drive-up window! We have no been there since our design meeting in mid-September. But the pictures Rusty has provided definitely show an ever-changing landscape! Not sure we'll recognize the place when we get there! We'll be moving in next summer...come ANYTIME for a visit, Lorraine!

Default Hotrod's Pool

Hey Girl! As promised I went by your home today and found that the workers were filling the pool! It's about 2/3 full and you've got a nice little lizard/gecco on the floor. It also looks like the stove is in your summer kitchen but it's a little hard to tell because the camera focused on your screen instead.

Hope you enjoy your pics

Default Twinspin's Studs

And no, I don't mean Ed!!!

The walls/foundation are done and there is a load of ceiling joists (studs) on her lot waiting to be installed. If a crane is available, I'd bet that tomorrow will be a busy day on Eastfield Path!!!

Default Calc's Progress

Hi Everyone! It appears that the pool deck is complete and I saw a load of covered and masked men tramping into your home this morning with a lot of paint. The were still working when Gracie and I made our rounds so we didn't go in to interrupt them. I did manage to snag a pic of the summer kitchen where they've done the ceiling.

Enjoy!!!

Junction 29! Look at the French doors! OMG! I didn't even know that was an option! Your house looks beautiful. HotRod! Even through the screen I can see that awesome summer kitchen...my first task next summer is to master the art of grilled pizza and seeing your summer kitchen just makes me all the more excited. TwinSpin: you're going to be shocked by what happens tomorrow...as soon as those trusses go up, it looks like a totally different house. That sky in the background looks awesome but a little scary also!

How exciting for all of you with the beautiful pictures Rusty has taken. We know from experience just how hard it is to build and not be there. Fortunately for us we also had a Rusty to take pictures of the daily progress. I am guessing each Sales Rep may do the same thing, when we closed she gave us a photo album of all the weekly pictures that TV took along with a little baggie of sand from our lot. It also is something nice to have. Best wishes on all you upcoming closings as well as many happy and healthy years in your new homes! Hope to meet many of you in January.

Sorry Bob! Coming from CT know your pain... When we moved to the Memphis area in 2000 I asked for the test. My realtor didn't have a clue....

Good luck!

And how long have you and Cathy lived in your house? Are you glowing yet?
Patience. It will soon be over and you can move on!

EPA limit was 4 or less and we registered 14.9. I already GLOW from working in the nuclear power industry for the last 41 years so what will a little more do to me. Actually, there's a difference. We've been in the house 4 years. Cathy just called. The Mitigators are there. Sort of like Ghost Busters
