Default New to the Villages

My wife and I just bought a house in the villages and plan to be there in December (when my wife retires).
We just flew back Monday night and we're very impressed with everything there.

Welcome CCB! Tell us about the house you bought. Will you be living full time in TV, or will you be spending summers in Cape Cod?

Hi Bob & Patty,
We are waiting like you for that retirement, which is June 2013, sorry to say.
It just eats you away waiting to get to TV.
One more cold winter.
Enjoy your home. Hope we meet someday soon.
We wished we could have been there for the Paddock Sq. opening but
6 months short.

For now, we'll be making the TV our primary residence with about 4 (summer) months on Cape Cod. I do think that we'll eventually sell our house on Cape Cod and become year-round.

I love Cape Cod, what a a beautiful area. I know you'll enjoy your new lifestyle, and spending winters in The Villages. This is such an exciting adventure for you. Congratulations.

Congratulations and welcome to TV. You will love the constant sunshine next winter here, and the rustling palms as you have coffee on the lanai in the morning. Winter being only 2 months long and having low daytime temps of maybe 45 is pretty darn nice!
