Moved from the frozen tundra of CT, that was bomarded with snow and cold temps, this winter. I really don't miss it.

Best wishes, as you start living the dream.

Welcome to you. All this chilly weather is not NORMAL for here.

The warm welcome is.

You have made a wise choice.

Welcome Virginians! I am from The Bay, Urbanna, Deltaville, Mathews, Gloucester and the Northern NECK (Kilmarnock/Irvington). Love it here but I will be heading back to my beach sometime 1st of May. I will miss it here just like I miss it there now. The one thing I will never miss again is the cold and snow and cold and cold and cold! Nelson Horsley.

Well, you are so lucky! We live in NOVA (Fairfax), but my daughter lives in Richmond (VCU)-- I do love Richmond and the area, but the cold is another animal. I fell in love with TV since 2003 -- we are still making plans to move there in a few years.
Meanwhile, enjoy and all the best! It is beginning to warm up around here... ;-)
