Bought a house and thought we would live the dream, but found out giving up all we have been used to and just moving was a very difficult decision to make. We visit the Villages a couple of times a year, but just can't seem to make the big final move. I think I am ready, but my husband thinks he will miss the snow and change of seasons?!?! We live in a rural area just north of Reading. Rick and Nadine, from Mohnton...do you ever miss your home in Pa?
We do miss PA, but we've only been here a few months, so we are SOOO enjoying everything TV has to offer. You can never replace the seasonal changes of Berks County PA but we are not sorry at all for making the move!!

the weather: it's always a beautiful day in the villages. we are too far inland to get much damage from the rare hurricane that comes across the state, but you can expect heavy winds and rain. It seems that the villages doesn't have power outages like surrounding areas. March is windy. October is beautiful. summer is hot and winter can be icy. haven't heard of earthquakes or tidal flooding. Most of the area is high and dry. Just enjoy your retirement.

to the TOTV forum, Harry and Christie. As you can tell, there is lots of valuable advice on here and if you do searches for whatever topic you are interested in, you will find many good threads. Enjoy and good luck.
