Well,the Orlando Hamcation is one of the South's largest Hamfests,sometimes referred to as the Mini Dayton Hamvention,which is the largest Hamconvention in the world.The Hamcation usually has around 10000 in attendence.
The Hamcation is sponsored by the Orlando amateur Radio Club(OARC),which has over 300 members.
The Orlando Hamcation is held Feb.10th,11th,&12th,20102,at the Orlando Fairgrounds on W.Colonial Drive(Hwy 50)

I myself belong to the Dayton Amateur Radio Assn.(DARA)which sponsors Hamvention.

We would like to thank all volunteers, visitors and vendors for a fantastic HamCation® 2011. Orlando is the place to be, and all the hams experienced the results of the hard work of the HamCation® organization. We were blessed with great weather during the event.

The new location for the forums worked out well and we got an overwhelming number of tailgaters. Also, the RV spots were very well populated.

The preparations for 2012 have already started. We would like to present you, our fellow hams, all the visitors and vendors, a well organized Ham event in February 2012.
