I am familiar with Florida summers, I lived in the Ft. Lauderdale are approx 20yrs ago for about 5yrs - unfortunately because of personal reasons I had to move back to my home state - but since I left my desire has been to return. I really don't want to return to the Ft. Lauderdale area but the Villages really seems like a place I can call home. God Willing I am hoping to be there by July or Aug (Hottest time of yr ) Thank you so much again for all the information you provided. If the people in the villages are as welcoming and friendly as you are I know I will be happy

I have just met several people in the 55 range and they love it here!!!!

If work is not a problem, then you are golden.

Don't forget, no matter where you live, in ten years you will be 65.

I like to think I am getting younger, the longer I stay here!!!!

You will love the lifestyle and you may have trouble keeping up with older people.
