I saw a brief preview ad about the "Jimmy Roberts, In Play" show on The Villages that will be on the Golf Channel looks interesting.

Anyone know more about the show than what the brief preview shows? I imagine as it gets closer the local print paper or on-line paper will have more information about the segment but perhaps someone out there knows a little more about it.

If you have Directv and a Genie you can set the show to record now, I just did mine. Go to search and type in Golf and select golf channel and scroll to the date and select Jimmy Roberts 'In Play' 9pm, hit record.

I assume that Roberts will focus mostly on the golf aspect of The Villages so I hope that no one is disappointed that it's not a more all encompassing view. It is a show about golf on the Golf Channel.

About three or four months ago, Rich Lerner and the Golf Channel spent three or four days here filming. They did segments on Dragon boats, golf, Pickleball and the Squares. Not sure if there was anything else. At the time the intent was to condense it to about a nine minute segment for the show. No one knows what their spin will be on the story.
