We closed on our new TV home at the end of January in the Village of Poinciana. We are in an area that was just opened up this past October. Our home is on Foggy Brook Loop. In the pictures we have received it looks like only a few other homes have been built by ours. Just wondering if any of our neighbors might be on here. Would love to get to know any of our new neighbors. We won't be down to our home until the end of March and won't be full-timers until we retire in June, 2010.

Welcome to the neighborhood! We just moved to Foggy Brook Loop last week. We are one of a few houses here. Have they started building your house yet? Give us a shout when you get down this way. Looking forward to meeting new neighbors.

Our lot is on Foggy Brook Loop next door to debokla's. The map says Poinciana, but the actual designation is Village of St. Charles. The map will be updated for the next printing. Your home will be built before ours. We are still in the process of selling our home in California, then it's The Villages or bust!

They are slowly but surely building more on and around Froggy loop. Building some of the Premier Homes on Lake Ridge and Horizon down on Pennecamp. Very nice area. Slowly but surely getting more house.

Our home is actually completed already. We are near the curve down toward the end. There is another home right next to us already done too! Where are you located? We are so anxious to get down and check everything out, but have to wait until March.

Some of our paperwork says Poinciana and some says St. Charles so we are confused which village we are officially in.

Hi Julie!

Looks like we will be neighbors!! I am so excited to start to meet some of our new neighbors. Where is your lot located? We are down toward the curve at the end on the inside. Our house is completed and just waiting for us. We won't officially be full-time TVers until June, 2010 when we both retire from teaching. I never thought that I would be wishing to get older but 55 can't get here soon enough now that our home is done. We are ready to start our next phase of life in TV.

Looking at the sales map our lot is #41. If you are standing on the street facing the golf course Deb's house is directly to the right of our lot.

Do you know what your lot number is? I remember seeing a couple of houses built at the end of the loop.

We did an LSV visit last September 2009 and made a down payment on a Foggy Brook Loop lot. Our house in Louisville goes on sale around January 2010 and as soon as it closes, we will start construction in TV. With any luck selling our house, we hope to be living in TV by the end of June 2010. Cannot wait! Whenever we go on vacation, we always have to come back to work after a week or two. Moving to TV will be like going on vacation and never coming back. Cannot wait to meet all my new neighbors in St Charles. See you at the pool!

It's nice to read posts from new residents (or soon to be residents). Jeff and I have a house on Dove Hollow Run. We are "snowflakes". We come and go for short visits as Jeff is not retired yet. We will be driving down from Long Island arriving around the 27th of January.

Looks we'll be neighbors. We signed the contract on our home at 1999 Dove Hollow Run a couple of weeks ago. The closing is scheduled for March 4.
We're from Orange County, New York and will be snowbirds for awhile too. My wife and I are both retired but we still like our area of New York, except for winters.

Another neighbor checking in hear. I close tomarrow at 2;30. Meet my sales rep at 1:00 at the house (2332 Baldwin Run) for a walk through with the builder then over to the closing location at LSL. I'am trying to sell my condo in south florida (Stuart) with no luck for the past year and one half. Go tired of waiting cashed in a IRA and am doing it. This is not a dress rehersal its real life and how much time do we really have left. So lets get on with it and have some fun. Phone hook up tomarrow at 6:00 , power on,insurance in place, Direct TV comming on Thurs. Funding in my Citizens Bank account. Must be something i fogot to do but the essentials are in place. Looking forward to meeting everyone.
