Ronda, I can't tell you how happy I am for you. Keep it going.

Life without the "smoking monkey" on your back is fabulous and much easier to have, than an actively smoking person would think.

Addiction does not want it's smokers to think they can do it. I didn't. Tom didn't. We did it...from 1 1/2 - 2 packs a day to 0. 41 years for me, 50+ for him, to 16 mos. without.

Our house, clothes, teeth, persons, all of it smells and looks better. Our lives are our own, no tension to leave what we are doing because we need a cigarette.

Life is good, smoke free.

Oh another plus...about $5000 not given to the tobacco companies.

I applaud you Ronda for making your quitting a public affair. I believe you are influencing others to choose life also.

I used a thing called Nicourol Inhalers. worked that and the help of God , I went from 3 packs of Camels a day to nothing. I haven't had a cigerette since 2003. I feel so much better. keep it up RR We're all pround of you.

Soon instead of counting in days, hours and minutes, you will be able to count in years, months and weeks of not smoking. Good for you!!!!

Kudos to anyone that can quit. While I did it cold turkey, I know it takes some alternative cures. Whatever works. MY wife is smoke free for two and a half years. It was a long row to hoe.

Default 5 weeks, then a relapse GGRRRRR

5 weeks, then I relapsed > I had 4 cigs today. On Aug. 17th I lost my beloved 16 year old cocker spanial. I held her when she went to the rainbow bridge. The next day I bought a pack of cigs, thinking I would just have 1.....yeah right!! I set a new date, On 9-11 I went until 3:30 until hub got a ticket! GGRRRRR $340 speed trap ticket.bought another pack.......I will keep at it until I run out of excuses!! LOL
