Once you update to iOS 7 there is no path back to iOS 6.

Thank you, I'll give it a try. Now I'm trying to resize my wallpaper. In the new OS, the picture is very large and resizing doesn't seem to be working.....uuugggghhhh...

I use the calendar a lot and I do not like the changes in the 7. On the previous version when you went to a given day it displayed any events on that day. The new one when you go to the day you have to scroll to see/find what is there.
To me that is a step backward.

In the next few days I will get to see what functions are better. I have an iPhone 4, so I don't expect any significant changes.

What Apple is doing is trying to emulate the look and feel of their competition. In fact, the graphics are very Windows 8 looking and text is now thin. Us seasoned citizens have to realize that most technology products are aimed squarely at the young people, they want phones in colors and ways to instantly document their every movement in text and with pictures easily uploaded to the various social media websites.

Don't forget in iOS 7 you have the ability to change the font size for all applications (including the OS itself!) that support dynamic font sizes. Go to Settings-General-Text Size.

How about Font colors? Get better contrast for aging eyes. Hard sometimes to read that light blue on white now on iPhone 5.

Hearing many negative comments about 7 here and on other websites. Though Rush liked it.

after a few days of use I still say they made changes for the sake of change ala like the competition.

The calendar and appointment making is not as good as io 6......I am sure we will get used to it.

I too think the white printing on light colored backgrounds is not very legible.

If I had the option to go back to io6 I would without hesitation. I have elected to not download io7 to my wife's phone....it has taken me too long to get her to where she is capability wise...the beauty is she will not be missing anything.

And people are standing in line to spend hundreds of dollars to get this (plus a few new features????) no way. My iphone 4 with io6 was the best phone I ever had....as will continue to be with io7.

I had to pick a darker wallpaper from the ones offered, then the white lettering showed up better.

I went to Verizon today with a couple of questions regarding IOS 7 that I downloaded on my phone. The gentleman said that he is advising people to wait a couple of weeks before updating and give that system time to work out the wrinkles. Too late for me on the phone but I'm glad I didn't upgrade on my IPAD.. One thing I mentioned was that last night I couldn't double click the hm button & have all the programs I had used thru out the day start their little shaking so I could close them out before turning off & that so happens to be one of the wrinkles that should eventually get straightened out. Lots of complaints regarding the calendar. I don't like the skinny font..changing the wallpaper helps some.

Kaydee

If you double click the home button you will see all the apps you have been using plus a window of what it is. If you drag the window up it closes the app just like when you clicked the x before.

Oh, I do not like ios7 at all, and I want to go back!

Are you sure there is no way?

Believe me, there is no way back.

I have to have everything (iOS 7, Windows 8, etc.) on day 1, it's just the way I am.

I waited until day 2 to convert my wife's iPhone (she still has Windows 7) and she is about to kill me.
