Thanks very much Pooh. In June, I was given a new iPad for my birthday, so I had to get used to that operating system, but I didn't find it that different from my original iPad. This new ios7 seems very foreign. Probably someone will soon post a list of crisp, clear instructions on how to operate ios7. Probably there is one on Youtube as we speak.

If you have the original iPad, you cannot upgrade to iOS7. In fact, you were not even able to upgrade to iOS6; you're still stuck on iOS5.

I have 2 iPads and the first one was the original...it's still on iOS5

On the plus side, Apple will be announcing new iPads next month...

Thank you for the iPad info. I've spent enough on technology this year -- bought a new laptop 6 months ago, so the three year old iPad will have to do as I don't use it that much. In fact I purchased it second hand last year.

Chicago had a slightly cooler than normal summer. Today temp is 68 and not a cloud in the sky. Forecast to be back up to 78 by Wednesday and no rain forecast for the next week. September and June are the best weather months in Chicago IMHO.

Gave it a try and set up a few "stations." I do enjoy Pandora, even have a paid subscription. Will have to use Apple radio a bit more, but so far! not bad at all...

The more you work with it, the more comfortable you will become with the new system. Last evening I installed it on my phone....probably better than having two different systems. .....now if YAHOO would just get their act together....their new home page is making people nuts..including a couple that live at my address....

All the "windows" that open and store themselves at the top of the page ... is there any way to delete them all, or do you have to X out of each one individually?

Thanks BTK... I did try what you suggested & the small app window does not move for me. When I try sliding down the page of that app the page move down , does not close anything but brings up another page that I do not recognize. I do appreciate your trying to help me. BTW, if u respond back to me please don't think I'm ignoring... Will not be on here for a week as we'll be cruising. I'll be in withdrawal without my social networking but ill be having fun aboard The Allure

I received a message to update so I did. Big mistake. Now I have to put in a passcode every time I open the phone.

Another complainer! I am just disappointed in the graphics as they look so chintzy compared to IOS 6. I have 776 emails showing on my iPhone email app. Every time I try deleting them (individually of course) they come back. I don't have that problem with the iPad and all my settings are the same on both!

Bob, thank you for instructions on how to turn off pass code lock. Can you tell me how to close all the tabs that stack themselves up at the top of the screen (they denote each website visited).
