Just read on internet that we lost another great comedian--Bernie Mac died of pneumonia complications at age 50. Apparently had sarcoidosis which had been in remission. Really loved his show --always made me laugh. My heart goes out to his family and friends----

Sandy, my husband just got the pneumonia vaccine and says his muscle really hurts. After seeing this, I'm so glad he got the vaccine. I may get one myself. I've never had a flu shot /pneumonia vaccine. Living in a densely populated area such as TV, maybe I should rethink that vaccine.

Think you're right Samhass---I've never had it either but will certainly discuss it with my primary care physician at my next appt.
