Florida does not notify your previous election commission of your voting change. You’ll need to notify them in writing that you’ve moved and to please remove you from the voter rolls there.

I used the guidance in The Villages directory. Front pages had a lot of info about vehicle, voter, homestead info.

Update every place you receive money from ASAP. Retirement, interest, dividends, payments, etc.
Everything after moving to FL does not get taxed by the old state. Competent companies will separate money paid to you by each state you resided in at the time of payment.
Some states will still try to claim you are a full time resident if you maintain business relationships there. Such as bank accounts, utility bills, medical professionals, etc.

OP, you did not mention your age, so another area you will need to review is health coverage, there have been many other threads on this subject, so I would advise a search for more info.
