Discord isn't a "dark site." It's important to use terminology correctly, or else you end up spreading the same kind of misinformation you accuse others of spreading.

Thanks for the correction. I only know that there are such things as "dark sites" on the internet. Because I don't really understand what they are and what they do - probably it makes me fear them more. It is human nature to fear the unknown.
.....Discord is something that I do NOT understand so I guess that I just "lumped them in " with something else that I truly don't understand........dark sites.

It sure does, and it's not good that we teach very limited, if any, actual history any more. I really don't think those who think that is not a great loss, just a poor use of limited education time to "waste" on a "boring, old, useless subject" ! Absolutely, my personal view is too many people are too loyal to one party or another, don't think or research, or analyze on their own. More emotion than intellect. Great to learn something, would never have garnered that from the "news talking heads", or even a couple of our federal administration spokes persons. I had never heard the acronym and they sure made it sound "dark", "mysterious", lol, of course. I do believe though, that his particular cyber "friends" (again, so they say !) were all younger, and looked up to him as important, knowledgeable, etc. Too bad when a person has a change to be a positive role model, many prove to have "clay feet". NYC has almost every single square in under surveillance by some type of camera. Yet, violent crime is rampant...

Oh, I know... MORE cameras will make things better...
