Just goes to show how jaded we are as consumers in America. I know with all the cows around here someone will be inventive and come out with a Florida brand or start making it in their own home all you need is milk after all.

It’s the same all over. Try Aldi’s. I grabbed 4 bars there.

Shop at a different store, you may find what you want and save money why you do it

Sounds like the TP shortage. Start the rumor of a potential shortage and people buy whether they need it or not. Some just buy more than they can actually use.

It’s been on the news several times since December. Cyber attack that crippled the manufacturers and the lack of staff due to pandemic combined to make the severe shortage. Supply chain issues as well. It was the perfect storm and it will be difficult for them to catch up. This too shall pass. But in the meantime it is poopy to say the least.

Just don't buy refrigerated crescent rolls at Publix. Walmart had only one pack at $1.32 and we needed 2 for a recipe. It cost $5.07 at Publix. Would love for someone to explain how Publix rolls were worth $3.75 more than Walmart's.

The issue is not the Cream Cheese itself,
The manufacturers are having issues getting food grade containers FOR the cream cheese (raw materials for containers)
Having beeniin the grocery business for over 40+years ,that's what my associates are telling me .It's pretty much a nation wide issue ,and not just cream cheese
Hope this helps a little

Default Supply Problems

There are supply problems with various foods.

It is possible to make your own cream cheese without a lot of trouble. Go to YouTube and search for videos on how to do this. You need milk and a starter. Starters can be bought online (e.g. Amazon).

The cream cheese you make will be much healthier due to lack of preservatives. But it won't keep for too many days. Imagine - needing to finish cream cheese

I make my own yogurt with the same starter (how it is prepared determines if it becomes cream cheese, cottage cheese or yogurt when you start with milk....the same starter works for all, except cottage cheese needs a little vinegar.)
