Stay on standard time. Daylight savings time was made up decades ago and no longer applies to modern times

I don't find any difficulty with the status quo. During the shorter days of the year, daylight comes later, and the clocks are changed to allow daylight's "time" to start more like it does during the longer days of the year. During the longer days of the year, daylight comes earlier, so the clocks are changed to help most working people not have to be woken at 4 in the morning because the sun's coming up and shining through their windows.

It's all fine to me.

No surprise that Congress can’t make a decision on DST. They can’t make a decision on the Federal Minimum wage law which is set at the ridiculous rate of $7.25 hour. Politicians rarely will make a decision on anything that might cause them to lose someone’s vote.

Including my two vehicles, lanai and garage had to change sixteen clocks. LOL but true. Just remembered 2 more, the irrigation timer and the one on the stereo system , total 18 ! I got too much time on my hands . LOL even harder !

Another vote for all year long Standard Time. Much safer for children and adolescents navigating the streets and roads in the early morning. It will prevent some accidents. Plus, I'm a morning person and love early walks.

There only amount of light or dark in day, for use retired, it doesn’t matter, I only look at clock for something on TV or and appointment. Makes no difference to me. IMO people who don’t have to go to work it shouldn’t be a problem either way. When I was working on DST I had extra hour sun light in evenings. Mornings didn’t make any difference just driving to work in light or dark.

If 1 side wants something it is for sure the other side is against it. Ugh.
