I agree. There are other ways to get enough protein.

mikeod: What you describe is exactly why my father would stick a chicken's head in a bucket of water and twist its neck. Then bleed it out and my duties then commenced dip into scalding hot water ,pull, water, pull water...

I recently read an article where I believe it was Georgia, perhaps South Carolina...anyway a few southern states were they hunt sand crane. the article claimed meat was top of the line
