That reminds me of the "do not burn poisonous if eaten" written on the side of the packaging.

I was referring to mining operations. I have no experience with C4 being I was aircraft engine mechanic for 40 years. My encounter with explosions was on start up… when I worked at rock quarry blasting caps was timed to keep rock from blowing for miles. Why if you ever heard quarry blasting it was quick booming not one boom.

That makes sense, rock quarrying is probably the only thing anyone is still using dynamite for. For the military it's too dangerous for all the reasons you had mentioned... I have handled some "sweating dynamite" in the past and didn't care for the experience. Never did any rock quarrying but it sounds like a blast...

especially during rainy season in the jungle when everything was wet ,everyone would be begging the engineer for little pieces to warm up there food or coffee ,it takes a detonator cap or other primary explosives to set it off ,something someone’s ranger friends should know

That's exactly what I've been thinking.

This was not in the Spanish Springs area, and cases of miscreant adult children behaving badly occur throughout the villages. It does seem sometimes that these kids do cause a fair amount of trouble. I always wonder why a younger person would live here.

Destructive Potential: This amount can easily blow up a car into "smithereens" or make a single-family house uninhabitable.

A home within 1.5 miles of Spanish Springs certainly seems like it is in the Spanish Springs area.

It's your imagination, and not even germane to the topic. The topic is about C-4 being found at a home off the west side of Morse, not far from the 466/Morse intersection. While not exactly halfway, it's considered part of the central area between Spanish Springs and Sumter Square.

It's also less than 3 miles from Sumter Square. It's also 1.5 miles from Tierra Del Sol "Studio Theatre", restaurant, and Country Club by car, around 1/2 mile if you take the cart path around the golf course.

Yes, I can read Google Maps too.

When someone begins noting the Bradenton rec center area or the Savannah Center area then I will be interested in whether a home is 1.5 miles from Tierra Del Sol. Until then I'll keep with the convention of identifying the nearest town square.

"1/2 mile if you take the cart path...." At 3,300 feet it's actually a little more than 1/2 mile. But, that looks like a cart path for a golf course that is only accessible from San Marino Dr, right? Since you would have to drive through a neighbor's yard to get to the path and since you would be using it improperly at that, why worry about paved surfaces at all? Avoid the path, cut through lawns and straight across the golf course and then it would actually be less than 1/2 mile.
