Default fantastic web sites out there. Tell us some

I never cease to be amazed at what is available on the internet. There are some wonderful sites out there.

Direct us to some of your favorites. Copy the URL. Open the "post reply" window. Click on the little icon of the globe at the top. Right under the white smiley face. Then paste the URL in the window.

You can paste it before of after you type text in the box about the site.

Try this one, an interactive map of tornado's in the US.

http://www.wunderground.com/tornado/

Or, you can pick a hurricane and see where it went here:

I hope that many consider TOTV to be their favorite, but we all know how to get here.

Symptom checker at the Mayo Clinic is, IMHO, better than WebMD.

Okay, one more. I can't resist. I love the Internet.

This is a very good site to get news headlines. You can also research campaign contributions. I love it for news.

Default One of my favorites is stumble upon

www.stumbleupon.com

You put in your interest, and it sends you out to random websites. It's quite addicting, and you can fine tune it with more interests and clicking whether you like a page or not.

This is a a magnificent website with daily photos taken in The Villages. Probably may of you TOTV folks have seen this site, but if not, this is one that should be bookmarked on everyone's browser who love TV. Some of the photos here are just perfect - and I try to access it at least weekly, as I'm up here in Upstate NY and won't be moving down there for another year or two. This is the way I get my weekly TV visual fix.

This has thousands of "stations." Many of which are just regular people who've loaded up music they llike. Huge variety.
