Also, at the time, the rioting went on for over a week in the Twin Cities. The rioting was causing gasoline stations to close, because the gasoline stations were afraid of the arsonists that were part of the rioting.

There were also reports of cars with the license plates removed, that were filling up gasoline cans at gas stations in the Twin Cities area. Those were probably the arsonists that were part of the rioting.
I thought you explained yourself rather well the first time.

I just buy it by the case at Wal Mart. I go through maybe 2 cans in 3 months. That's like $16 and no hassle taking gas with me....

FYI instead of being a moving gas bomb all the way to mass , it’s much easier to just go to any gas station or marina and fill up all your small engines or boats , and if you can’t find done and you don’t believe that ( goggle is your friend) your welcome to come over to my marina in east Boston and fill up

We live in the Berkshires, Boston is a 270 round trip drive for us. I have checked every place within about 40 miles of us that supposedly sells ethanol free gas and no one has it at a pump except for a small airport in Northampton, but you can only buy gas from them if you rent a hanger for your plane. All other places only sell the gas in small containers at a ridiculous price. You can buy tru fuel, which is Ethanol free at Walmart, Tractor Supply, etc... for $24 for a 110 OZ. can versus about $3 for 128 Oz. at WaWa in Florida. I will risk driving the gas up north in the bed of my pickup truck. I wouldn’t do it inside a car.

My neighbor up north is setting up an old oil tank in his barn with a drainage valve on the bottom of the tank. The plan is to fill the tank about 90% with gas (containing ethanol) and then top off the tank with water. Ethanol bonds with water and both are heavier than gas and will sink to the bottom of the tank. Open the valve and slowly drain out the water/ethanol until pure gas drains out and shut the valve. The tank now contains ethanol free gas.

That seems like a lot of effort for a weed-eater or blower.

So going to Disney tomorrow, tank at 1/4. Sams, had 6-7 cars per pump. Every station had line’s of cars waiting to get in. I traveled down to WaWa’s, hoping less of a line. Each car only took less than 5-10 minutes. Lawn guys were the only ones getting more than 5 gallons of gas. Who sits in a line for 15 minutes for a few gallons of gas. It’s the TP mentality all over again.
I was at Sam's today...no lines, pulled right up to the pump and got what I needed...$2.629 per gallon.

Went to Sam's today. No lines. Pulled right up to the pump and got what I needed. Price was best in the area.

Default Gasbuddy app for your phone

I am going on a trip north this weekend - first vacation in over a year - and am a little concerned about getting gas along the way (I-95). I was on the internet this morning and as usual, a search will provide many useless pieces of information.
HOWEVER, I did see that there is an free app for your phone called "gasbuddy". You can put in your location and it will provide a list of gas stations nearby and indicate if that station has gas or not (plus a few other things like price and diesel). It appears to be user updated as is the Waze app - i.e. relies on people using it to update it.
I played with it putting in locations like Jacksonville that are along my route to see what was shown for gas stations. It has a map function where you can scroll the map (like google) and see the gas stations (plus some other things). You can click on the station and it will tell you about it.
I've not used it yet but it looked interesting and useful.

try gasbuddy tracker rather than gasbuddy.

gasbuddy is pricing, tracker is availability.

Shell on 441 always runs out, this is nothing new. I am amazed they are still in business.

I went at ten last night on 466 before heading to Orlando airport. No one else there. When I went in to get a drink for the ride, the fellow inside said after 930 pm always dead since 95% of Villagers are tucked in for the night.

The stations on 466a all have gas today.

It's like mail not getting delivered when you first move to TV, breath and life will improve.
