Default Roy Rogers & Dale Evans

I knew that Roy had passed away a few years ago but I was wondering about Dale. So, I checked it out on the internet and read that she, too, had passed back in 2001. I had completely forgotten that.

NOW I'M REALLY BUMMED OUT.

They were great and when Trigger died, they had him stuffed!

Happy Trails indeed.

Horse is best served with a light barbeque sauce, arugula over cold butter peas and a nice Merlot.

The big (stuffed) palomino is in their museum.

Visit it when in CA.

Tony, sounds like you've had a lot of cooking experience. I understand that gator tastes like chicken, but chickens are easier to catch.

I have actually been in that museum, did you know that after Roy passed his family sold the museum and it was actually moved to another state.
Bev & I really enjoyed that nostalgic day.

My sister and brother-in-law (both pilots in the Airforce) lived next door to them in AppleValley, Calif. I got to meet Dale and saw Trigger stuffed.!! They were old then and it was around 1980.

Where did you get this topic tkret?

I was horsecrazy from birth so I loved Roy, Dale and Trigger.

Well, Best Mom, sounds crazy but for some reason Roy Rogers popped into my head today. I remembered that they had a loving relationship and I was wondering how Dale was doing.... well, I surely found out. I had totally forgotten that she had passed away but found the info on the internet.
