Default Google Still Manipulating Search Results

The amount of control these tech companies have over framing your viewpoint is criminal.

Alt-right conspiracy nonsense.

If you have to delve into websites like outkick to find your information, then maybe your agenda needs tweaking.

Of course they do. That is a no brainer, apparent to every child in the land.

It has been demonstrated through the IA programs, they use a large part of just what is present on the web to synthesize, condense what is there, IA has no critical thinking, garbage in garbage out, If there were a great abundance of the web articles were about how healthy it is to stand on your head in a corner for 15 minutes a day thinking about grasshoppers that would have the herd thinking, believing and expounding how much it has helped them

Agreed, way to much consolidation in the news reporting business.

What amazes me is that even after admitting they do this, some extremists still deny it.

When people hear what they want to hear, want to believe it gets sucked in and digested

Some people have a certain point of view and irregardless of the facts will continue to hold that view.

If you think Google is bad a News program widely viewed was reporting about the economy with video showing petroleum prices at $7 - $8 a gallon. Using AAA and Gas Buddy were far below.
I have no problem with Google.

What amazes me is some will look past simple logic to find a conspiracy. Of course Google manipulates the results and we all WANT them to do that. Otherwise, what is returned would be a mess! In various articles Google has tried to explain this but hey, that just gets in the way of the conspiracy.

Google returns the results that match the search terms. Don’t like the results? Use better search terms.

Interesting note: the non-Google, independent search engine that can be trusted returns a very similar set of results. (perhaps google has secretly taken them over!)

You may not like the source, or choose to believe the source, but at least I provided one.

Half the nonsense that is posted here is without attribution.

I have found Outkick to be overall factual, albeit with a centre-right perspective. Still way more credible than CNN.

Nice ad hominem attack. Please provide an alternate source to the contrary if you have one. I thought so....
