Default Gratitude is a good attitude..

Let's post what we are grateful for...it's good for us to let the mind and heart dwell there.

I'm thankful for many wonderful new friends most of whom I've come to know through TOTV.

Grateful for my health, my new friends, the free activities, the beauty of our surroundings, the fact that I am able to get around in my golf cart or trike, for my dearest husband, and lastly that our little dog, Meg, is doing well after eating slug pellets..........

Default Love it here

I am grateful that I am able to live in such a great community and enjoy retirement at such a young age with my husband. I am very grateful I am healthy and don't need medical care in TV! I am also happy that my mother in law didn't talk us out of a golf course lot. I love it here!

I am grateful that I retired today after 30+ years as a high school teacher. I loved every minute of it and can't wait to be a snowbird and use my villa in The Villages!

So many things, Kitty! I've never been in want, never gone hungry or homeless. No pogroms for me. If I was ever teased or bullied as a child, I don't remember it. Been loved, been hurt. Been places and seen interesting things. My health isn't great but dang, nothing actively hurts so yay!

I'm super fortunate and grateful for all of it.

I just retired after 32 years in education too. I just moved to the Villages a few weeks ago. Let me know when you settle in here. I would love to meet some former educators and new retirees!!

wouldn't you know the educators would be attracted to a thread on gratitude. Those I've known gave themselves away for the sake of love in their careers. No wonder ya'll are grateful for retirement. well done at the work, and congrats on a new life!
