BTW, what makes you think you need a new opener?

I purchased garage door opener from Lowe's using their installer no issues great experience. It's really not worth fixing old MVP opener new one I purchased much quieter and smoother operating . My opener has the MYQ app allows Amazon to put packages into my garage and allows me to open and close door remotely.

They are much more efficient and flexible, but more expensive. Some doors are a little complicated to use this sort of system, but I think most of the garage doors installed in TV will work perfectly fine. They're called a "Jackshaft opener".

The Villages is a perfectly application for this sort of opener, as most of the garage doors are fairly small and lightweight and garages are attached to the home .

Probably an extra $300 in total, but definitely worth it, if you plan to live there for a while. Warranties are similar. There's no reason I know of, that either type won't easily last 15-20 years ... your Jackshaft opener will just be way quieter.

(& yes, it obviously cleans up your ceiling space.)
