Default A quick question....

Since I can't seem to set up a poll for this, I'll just ask the question. When you need to find a phone number, do you go searching for your phone book(s) or do you search online for the number?

Personally, I look online, but I've watched as others have searched through a number of phone directories looking for some number that doesn't seem to be listed.

(How does one set up a poll? I'm stumped!)

Not even sure where our phone book is. If I have access to the Internet, I search there.

Cool

Well, we use the net, but since arriving here last month, we've acquired about 6 different phone books....both left by the door and in the mailbox. None of which we ask for or wanted.

Seems we could save a few trees ???

Thank you! I'll read and the next time I need to set one up, I'll know how (hopefully)...

I have lots of phone books, and some I use to elevate objects just a tad on high shelves (book isn't seen.) They arrive, I take a look, and out to recycling they go most of the time.

Oops, my fingers are too fast. Did four before reading your response here. I thought if I just did two, people would complain that they sometimes use one or the other. Sorry.

If you read my message again, I dropped the 2 because I knew you'd know how to set it up and would do it in a way that would be better.

THANK YOU!!!

Does it still exist and is it free if it does?

I haven't used a phone book in Atlanta in a few years. In TV, I have looked up the helpful numbers if the front of the book.

I am still old fashioned and let my fingers get exercise walking through the myriad of phone books we have here in TV. If it is not a local business, then I will use the net on the company website. Can't get used to online directories. Maybe I should try harder!!
