I had a dear friend who was born in Budapest, Hungary and came over here at age 19 with her mom and grandmother to live in West Liberty Ohio, sponsored by the Mennonite families. She later married a fellow from India and they became our dear neighbors and close friends, in Vermont........when they'd go back to visit in Budapest Hungary and Austria.........she'd bring us back wonderful foods and gifts.........I miss her; she died way too young.

Our son's girlfriend Leda is from Budapest and her mother travels back and forth from there to Los Angles much like Canadian snowbirds travel to and from TV.

חג מולד שמח
Chag Molad Sameach

In Hebrew. However, people will most likely say Chag Sameach (happy holiday)
