I'm confused
Yes, I'm confused, but tell me something that's new. Anyway, while looking at The Villages Real Estate page for resales I noticed a manufactured home for sale in Oak Meadows that is listed with "children welcome". That's OK with me but I've never heard of a village called Oak Meadows and what's up with the "children" thing. Just curious
??? and I would think that, except for a great vacation, children would be kind of bored with our activities. Hey, look at that...I wrote "our" activities and I won't be a resident for another 6 or so months. I guess my mind is already there with you folks. Gene |

Re: I'm confused
Gene,
The Villages real estate group sometimes takes listings for neighboring developments that are not part of TV. If you see something that says it is all ages or family friendly then it is not part of TV and does not have access to our amenities. Just skip over them if you are looking at "our" community. Welcome!!!

Re: I'm confused
Very kind of you to clear that up for me Villages07. Very much appreciated. I can understand that there would, indeed, be a market for such housing because of the large number of employees in the area who have families. Thanks, again, for taking the time to reply.

Re: I'm confused
Like Spring Arbor and Bison Ridge, Oak Meadows is a part of The Villages that is aimed mostly at employees of The Villages and they may have children. They do not share in the amenities offered to the "typical" Villages residents.
Oak Meadows is behind Target just off Rolling Acres Road; there is a small gated entrance just behind the shopping center. |
