I've given up on the LIST - I don't think I'll live long enough for him to get to it! I either do it myself or get someone in .............. I had a faucet dripping, then leaking, then flooding across the kitchen counter top. I called in the plumber and the other half said "why'd you do that, I was getting to it" - Oh sure Honey in your dreams.

Tugging this thread a little sideways -- do many of you grocery shop with your SO? I see couples in the store all the time, but honestly? If I'm doing it, I don't need my wife tagging along. Same for her, I presume.

We keep a running list, but whoever is cooking that night may need to run out for a specific ingredient. I'm also a little unhealthily fixated on BOGO and usually go on Thursdays for those. Heck, we're there probably there 3 times a week, anyway. But not together!

We sometimes do (I make cruel jokes about him, but we are actually very compatible), he goes one way (the wines and spirits aisle) and I go do the real shopping, then he will wait for me at the front of the store, and if he gets lucky and finds someone with a therapy dog that he can talk to (the dog, not the person) he is in hog heaven!
