Default Some Super Bowl comments…

- Glad that Eagles trounced KC. I’m typically for the underdog. And became very tired of the 3peat talk etc etc.
- I thought that Brady had a very good night, finally adding value with his commentary and SB experience.
- I really liked the “score bug” on the bottom of the Fox screen. Simple, and did not cover the lower area totally.
- Commercials, well generally OK. Some winners but most IMO wasted their marketing $$.
- We totally skipped halftime show. When we heard who was starring, had zero interest to watch. Skipped to another thing to watch. Happy we did…

And I’m feeling tired today. Glad that I’m retired and can spend a lazy day here in TV.

And again, the team that shows up with the best defense wins these games. Eagles were unbelievable. Not a great game if you like it close. WTF was that halftime?

Kansas City "Chiefs" is now deemed offensive. They will change their name to the Kansas City Swifts.

I did not see much diversity in the halftime entertainment.

If the NFL put on a halftime show with an all white group of supporting dancers, I think there would be a lot of complaints.

A mixture of ethnic diversity does not seem to happen anymore

They were making a statement about Black empowerment. It is music and art.

Oh, that’s what it was? I have to confess, I am not familiar with the songs but I’m sure he mentioned, ‘Tiramisu’ which is my favorite desert. And it is Italian - not black at all. He could have mentioned ‘jambalaya’ which would have made more sense then. I couldn’t make out the rest of the words. I also couldn’t make out what they were doing either so I gave up. I am not much into abstract art forms. I hope it made more sense to others.

We spent halftime in our pool listening to some good music on our floating blue tooth speaker.

I heard on the news the other day that Jay Z is in charge of booking who’s going to appear at the Super Bowl halftime show —anybody out there — Can you explain this to me and the rest of us— if this is true and not fake news

Music? Ha!

I see what you did there. That's a good one.

Blowouts are so disappointing, but being the 'make lemonade out of lemons' type of girl, I started to want to see how big of a blowout it could be! I agree the halftime show was not at all entertaining in any way. Good reason to do my stretch routine then go to bed early as usual.

It actually makes very much sense. Kendrick Lamar is incredibly smart and talented. He won a Pulitzer Prize for one of his albums. He’s a great storyteller. If you’re interested, you can easily find all the explanations of every minute of his performance with a quick google search. There are lots of people breaking it down for you. He’s brilliant. From the layout of the PlayStation controller, Sam Jackson as Uncle Sam, to the lower case a on his necklace. Every single moment of that performance was calculated. Even if you’re not a fan of rap, which I’m not, that performance was genius.

It is true Jay Z is in charge of the halftime show, it happens few years ago
