AS i HAVE POSTED BEFORE UNDER CIVIL LAW HE IS NOW LAWYERED UP. hE WILL BE CLEANED UP TO APPEAR AS A CLEAN CUT ALL aMERICAN BOY, WHO IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS ACTIONS BECAUSE HE WAS BRAIN WASHED (oops on the caps).....anybody wanna bet?

He is a confessed killer against what America stands for....he is not a common criminal entitled to the protection of the cuvil courts. A cold blooded killer who would do so again.....

The next time we will hear about we should have done more to him to learn more is when the next bombing takes place.
These killers against America know they have the apathy of Americans to do what ever it takes to find them and kill/stop them. They count on the permissive pacifism of those who intellectualize the deed. Those who intellectualize have no investment in the loss of life and limb, therefore they can be pompous and rightious....facilitating exactly what the enemy expects to happen....if they get caught.

I understand the legal concerns as it relates to us and the Constitution but we continue to embolden these terrorists with lack of punishment in a speedy manner. I suggest if Timothy McVeigh was a muslim, he would still be alive in some prison with cable tv, healthcare and congigal rights! Afer all, he was an American citizen!

Don't you think the founding fathers might have overlooked the changing landscape of toda's world?

Remember how many attacks on Americans have been pepertrated overseas without a single retaliation. Marines in Lebanon, embassy attacks, Blackhawk in Somalia, ships etc. And what did we do about it? NADA !

I told my husband I was curious if we had any Islamics in Vermont and he wasn't sure, although we both felt that with all the colleges and the University of Vermont up north, there must be a few. We only just learned that there is a new "resettlement program" up in northern Vermont for foreign born people from Africa.

I found this link only...with regard to a mosque in Vermont:
Just one mosque......(that I could find):
ISVT Statements - * Islamic Society of Vermont

Does the Villages in Florida have a mosque?

Or, is there one outside the perimeter?
There are some lovely Muslim people that live in The Villages. Hopefully all the rants on this forum will not scare them and others away and keep others from moving here. You can't blame millions of peaceful Muslims for the actions of a few. I don't think there is a mosque here yet.

My niece and her family also live in NYC, so I am always concerned when anyone talks of bombings in NYC.

Do you mean like Eric Rudolph, who killed people because of his anti-abortion and anti-gay extremism....and is still alive in prison?

Many people are not so quick to judge all anti-abortionists/gays, by his actions....or want to label him an "enemy combatant."

Given that both Rudolph and the Boston bomber are American citizens......why is that?

in the days to come perhaps we will find out why the justice department was more concerned about protecting the rights of the killer bomber than allowing the FBI to finisg their job of getting information to prevent more attacks and killing more Americans.

There is definitely a distorted priority that needs to be dealt with.
The sad part is as is demonstrated time and time again....we will go about our business and our daily lives. The reasons for the distorted priority will become old news. The legal sytem will grind on and the killer will enjoy a life undeserved and continual notoriety.
Nothing, again, will change, and sadly there is nothing to stop the killers from striking an easy target....... again.

What will it take to change the archaic laws that protect mass killers of the innocents???

I am very afraid you are right. And we can't even shout the alarm. It isn't politically correct.

If I had a friend or neighbor that was Muslim, I would ask them face to face what they felt about Radical Islamic Terrorists. If they condemned them as evil, I would be more at ease. If they said they are doing the right thing, or had no replay at all, I would be very concerned. I would use the same approach for Christians but refer to folks like Timothy McVeigh. We must not stereo type anyone into violent groups, but we must not stick our heads in the sand either.

Default This article in the Washington Post is some serious latest info:

Saudi official: Kingdom 'warned the United States IN WRITING about Boston Bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev in 2012 and rejected his application for an entry visa to visit Mecca in 2011' | Mail Online

History is beginning to show that for what ever reason the USA has adopted a tolerance regarding suspects. We the people need to emphasize to our leaders and lawmakers at the local, state and federal level that we want to gravitate towards an intolerance when it comes to the security and safety of us all.

The above is not intended to stir a political discussion but a discourse of action on a subject that affects all of our lives.

It is said that the widow of the older brother bomber is now not claiming his body.

I wonder what she knows or doesn't know.

I wonder if it will change her mind about the choices she has made.

I wonder how her parents feel.
