This is what happens when only the criminals have guns.

The gunman was on a scooter and ambushed this group! Four were children and 1 was an adult. Don't know "if" the outcome would had been different if others were carrying a gun! It certainly doesn't take care of the "hate" issues at hand! This is out and out persecution of Jews and is meant to intimidate! I'm not Jewish...but I certainly support the Jews and Israel and abbhor what has happened to them over the centuries.

Why do you think they are called "criminals?" Crinimals don't care if it is illegal to carry concealed, criminals brake the law, that is their job and they will find a way to obtain a firearm no matter how many laws are passed. Only law abiding citizens follow the law. Remember, it's not "Gun Control," it's really "People Control."

Poster was absolutely right. No place to talk about how you feel about guns. Time to think about those innocent children and their suffering parents and do what we can to be peaceful and show peace and kindness to others.

Please let's not turn this thread into yet another "gun" argument. This is a terrible act of terrorism. Often these fanatics use bombs....this time it was a gun. But this thread should be about so much more than my beliefs or your beliefs about guns. (btw, I suspect that we have similar views on the subject, it's just that this is not the thread for it).

It's pretty obvious, considering the target, that this is not ultimately going to be a "gun issue", but a manifestation of hatred of Jews. This was most likely a terrorist act.

Still, I'm always amused by people who think they will be safer if they disarm themselves.

Come on Richie. The poster was right. Let's not fight on this thread about it. No one is EVER gonna change anyone's mind about it and most of us know how all the people who have strong feelings who post on here feel about it.

Those children did not need to die. Those parents did not need to suffer. The world did not need to see another awful thing like this.

Of course this is a terrible crime and a tragedy for all the families involved. Did anyone say different.

But it's hard not to make a comment on the weapon when that was brought up here.

Is everybody so hard headed that no opinions can be swayed? I'm not sure why you think that.
