Moral of the story: if your face is that ugly that you have to make someone else feel small about their choices in decorating their own bodies, then maybe you should look into getting some inks to cover it up. Tats don't bother me, some piercings and gauges just make me wonder. What are they thinking about when they look in the mirror, and when they are older and have children what will they tell them or when they look at old pics like we all do. Will they wince and say what was I thinking and why didn't someone tell me how ridiculous I looked, or how did I not know I looked really bad. Some tats are really beautiful art but location is everything. I've never seen a guage in ears or nose that I thought was anything but ugly and stupid. Your body your choice and my intertainment. WOW did you fall out of bed and hit your head this am? are you always this angry? Have you been the brunt of ridicule or bullying your whole life? Maybe dye your hair if you have any, or wear that hat you speak of, or get that face lift, or that boob job, join weight watchers, find something that will make you like yourself so you can stop hating on everyone else

Seems as if there are more and more folks, esp sports and entertainment and sometimes people right in our neckofthewoods. Big NECK tattoos. After spotting this I wonder what they will do when they’re 60, 70, 80. Perhaps tattoo removal will be a good investment business.

Also on the “getting cranky” topic, I just got back from a drive up and back on Buena Vista. Going around about 16 roundabouts. 5 of them, drivers simply HAD to go directly side by side with me even tho I slowed etc before. 2 even cut the line close and I needed to brake more than normal in case they would cut over. It was not busy and no need to cut corners. C’mon - common sense folks. Don’t parallel drive around roundabouts!!!

I'm not fond of facial inks, and not fond of piercings other than mundane earrings and maybe those tiny little diamond studs on the side of the nose some Indian women like. But I don't think ill of anyone who chooses more obvious expressions of their taste. They like what they like. That doesn't make them criminals, and it isn't only criminals who do it. Assuming that someone with facial inks must of course be a low-rent criminal and judging the person because of it is offensive.

If you have trouble understanding that I was demonstrating that point by using your own personal insufficiencies as an example, well that's on you.

My sister has a little nose stud - it goes into the cartiledge on the side of her nose, a little higher than the nostril. It twists in, sort of like a screw. I asked her about it, she said when she sneezes or blows her nose it stays put, no big deal at all.

Meanwhile, how about all those women who get their eyebrows and eye liner tattooed on them. All those crazy arches, and too-thin practically translucent liner that makes it look more like they smudged - LOTS of women in the Villages have that done.

And yet - I don't see a single post from anyone here, who has a problem with facial and neck tattoos, mentioning these woman - who have facial tattoos.

It's a matter of personal preference. You don't like them. That doesn't mean they're bad. I don't like eggplant. That doesn't mean eggplant is bad. If you like eggplant, I hope yours is made perfectly and that you enjoy it.

I have instructed my children never to get any trashy tatoos. The only exception would be that if you went in the miiltary and you wanted to get a respectable tatoo that would be fine. Some of the stuff you see around is just plain disgusting. I won't even allow myself to be served by a server in a restaurant that is covered in tatoos. I ask for a different server or walk out.

Everyone judges everything. It is natural. It is part of our natural instinct to judge the world around us. Like things we know and be wary of things you don't know. Even personal preference is judgemental.
As for eggplant, I love eggplant parmigiana. I will be happy to take your portion.
