That is SO true!

Why not:

Try water volley ball (almost everyday somewhere)

Sign up for Pickleball 101 (good intro into the game)

Go to a session on local plants etc. (once a week somewhere)

Thanks in advance

IMHO.... go to .....www.virginiatrace.com You will find everything about everything in The Villages. Best darn website about The Villages FL. It was developed by those who live in the Village of Virginia Trace....BUT..it covers ALL of the Villages.

I'd say the biggest thing to do is just talk to people -- at the pools, the squares, in lines, in restaurants. Anywhere you can, anyone who will talk to you. Ask about different areas (we all think our village is the best but try to get comments about areas -- Spanish Springs v. Lake Sumter Landing), new v. pre-owned and so on.

Definitely get a golf cart. You really can't get a feel of TV without one. It totally changes your perspective and is a lot of fun.

Don't be afraid to check out a club or two. Most will be welcoming, a few won't -- their loss, not yours.

Be sure to find some "relax" time or you might just become overwhelmed with everything TV has to offer. So, HAVE FUN!!!
