I cancelled my Daily Sun subscription six months after arriving in TV. Not that I didn't enjoy browsing through it, but in this day and age, the complete daily paper should be published digitally. The Daily Sun is good info for this large community, but why kill so many trees, including throwing it in so many driveways where people will never read it. I have no doubt that the Daily Sun circulation would increase significantly if it was published digitally.

With the love people have for this community, wouldn't it be nice if folks had access to read current or back copies no matter where they were?

Sitting in our birdcage with a cup of coffee and some breakfast while reading off something other than a screen is very enjoyable. Plus, we save all the papers and bring them to our northern home so we have something to start fires with in our wood stove.
Modern newspaper contains inks, plastics, and other material that produce hazardous fumes when burned, especially indoors.

Unlike some things, trees are a renewable resource. Paper is also recyclable. I do enjoy my morning newspaper, especially, since I retired. Reading an entire newspaper is time consuming and young people with or without children don’t have a lot of time to enjoy a newspaper. The 6:30 network news is best for keeping up with current world events.

I don't like reading digital newspapers, hate the pop-ups. So I'm a Daily Sun advocate, usually the sports page. It's not bad. They have an article today by one of their columnists, Jeff Shain, discussing the demise of the PGA's yearly Florida swing. There's also AP sports stories especially covering golf.

Totally agree. I hate the pop-ups also, and if you install a pop-up blocker you hit a firewall. Also, I like reading outside and the sun glair ruins the digital experience.

I spend enough time on my computer and prefer reading at the breakfast table while my wife is asleep.

The paper goes with the trash and is incinerated for energy.
